Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your name and email when you sign up, and whether you chose to receive email updates
• Your password, stored as an encrypted salted hash — we do not store and cannot see your actual password
• The subject you are preparing for (e.g. group and speciality), if you choose one
• Your activity in quizzes and mock exams: which ones you take, your answers, scores and progress
• Your activity in "Reading" mode: which questions you have read, where you stopped, and which pages you open and when
• The saved-question lists you create
• The date and time of your last login and last visit, and how many times you have logged in. We do not record your IP address or device for these.
• Any report or note you submit with the "report a problem" feature
• What you send us through the contact form: name, email, subject, your message and the conversation that follows

How we use it

• To create and secure your account and let you log in
• To send you account emails (activation, password reset) and replies to your messages, through our email provider, Resend
• To save your progress so you can continue where you left off, and to show you statistics (e.g. accuracy, what you have read)
• To improve the content — for example, the combined answers of all users help us spot questions with a wrong answer key
• To protect the content from bulk copying: we count how many "Reading" pages each account opens and apply an hourly and daily limit. Your email appears faintly as a watermark on those pages, visible only to you. In case of abuse we may restrict access to "Reading".
• To protect the sign-up and contact forms from automated bots, using Cloudflare Turnstile
• If you opted in to updates, to send you news and study tips by email — you can unsubscribe at any time

Your account details and activity are visible to the site administrator, for support, improving the service and preventing abuse. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Cookies and local storage

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in — it is required for the site to work — and a cookie that remembers your chosen language. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (e.g. which pages people visit and where they came from), which places analytics cookies in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies. Some preferences (e.g. whether "Self-test" is on in Reading mode) are stored only in your browser and are not sent to us.

Third-party providers we use

• Resend — sends account-related emails on our behalf
• Cloudflare — provides network security, performance and bot protection
• Google Analytics — helps us understand site traffic and usage

How long we keep data

• Your account details and progress, for as long as your account exists
• The log of "Reading" pages you open, for up to 90 days
• When an account is deleted, its progress, answers, lists, reports and login details are deleted with it. Messages to support are kept, detached from the account, so there is a record of the conversation — you can ask for them to be deleted too.

Your data, your control

You can ask for access to, correction of, a copy of or deletion of your personal data, and for your account to be deleted, at any time through the contact form. We will respond to reasonable requests promptly and at the latest within one month.

If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority — in Cyprus, the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection, and in Greece, the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
